A SBDC (Small Business Development Center) Business Specialist is available to assist new and expanding businesses in a confidential setting with business plans and loan packaging. The Business Specialist from the Headwaters RC&D Area, Inc. office meets with current and prospective small business owners to discuss their particular needs. Since its inception in August 1989, SBDC has helped a wide variety of businesses including restaurants, floral shops, computer sales and service, print shops, day-care, light assembly, tourist services, post and pole production, mining and food production. Counseling
in all aspects of business start-up, including government licensing
and permitting, employee requirements, capitalization expectations,
bookkeeping, scheduling, and marketing and competition considerations;
Identification of market opportunities and advice on appropriate marketing strategies; Evaluation
of financing needs and identification of possible resources for
financing. |
