 The
Anaconda Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization of
individuals and businesses whose mission is to work together
to advocate for the economic, cultural, and aesthetic value of
Anaconda, Montana. Chamber Membership The Chamber has over 185 members with three types of memberships - Full ($195 a year), Booster ($30 a year) and Non-Profit ($60 a year). The Chamber operates through nine committees. Monthly Chamber activities include a Chamber meeting, business card social, newsletter and small business workshops. Your Best Investment Not only does your Chamber membership give you the networking and advertising tools and the referrals you need to help your business progress, but you are investing in the future of Anaconda and Deer Lodge County. All of the daily efforts of the chamber through the office, board of directors, committee activities and events benefit our members, community and county. Maximize Your Investment Become involved in Chamber programs or Committees; Use Chamber mailing labels for special events in your business; Read the Chamber Newsletter and send welcome letters to new Chamber Members, introducing your business; take advantage of educational workshops and programs to improve your business and employees; Place your business cards and brochures in the Chamber office; Advertise in Chamber Publications or sponsor Chamber Events; Attend Chamber meetings, events, and functions to network. You will enjoy the other business folks and possibly find new customers! Call the Chamber with news of our business for inclusion in the Chamber Newsletter; Offer Chamber Members a discount on your services or product - they may reciprocate! Keep the Chamber staff informed of your business services and products so they will know for future referrals. Membership Has It's Privileges! Each Chamber member can vote in the annual election for the board of directors, has the option to be nominated to be on the board of directors, can host business card socials, and serve on any Chamber committee. Free Benefits of a Chamber Membership The Anaconda Chamber of Commerce provides every member with the following benefits: We send a monthly newsletter and calendar of community events; we include your business or organization's activities on our calendar of events; We display any of your business cards or promotional material such as brochures, flyers or pamphlets; We sponsor small business seminars in collaboration with the country extension service; We make referrals on over 500 phone calls per month; Members and their employees are invited to a business card social every month; A directory of all chamber members, which is sold to others for $15, is provided free to members.
